THE ANNUAL MOTHER’S DAY OFFERING will be Sunday May 13, 2012. Monies go to Wesley Woods Senior Living, Inc., which serves the elderly with residential services in nine independent living facilities, as well as with health care, rehabilitation, nursing home care, and more. Over 75% of the residents in Wesley Woods communities are dependent on financial assistance, and more than 40% live below the poverty level. Wesley Woods is affiliated with the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church, and its mission is to help older adults age in healthy, affordable and ethical ways.

FLOWER ARRANGERS NEEDED!If you have basic flower arranging skills, the Altar Guild invites you to share your gift with the church.The Guild is seeking someone who can make flower arrangements for Sunday services in a rotation with three other ladies and would welcome help even it is only on an occasional basis.Please contact Sandy Hulsey at 706-348-1243.

WHIE COUNTY TASK FORCE TO FIGHT HOMELESSNESS: Last Week's meeting with the Task Force was both interesting and informative, and the proposed program presents an opportunity for our church to help White County famlies in need. The Trustees and Administratived Council will be meeting with Taks Forced representatives on Wednesday, July 6th for further discussion.
