Nacoochee Outreach and Missions
The Nacoochee congregation reaches out to those near and far in the name of Jesus Christ. We work with and support the following programs:
Alcoholics Anonymous: Established groups meet at the church twice weekly. Monday and Friday 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Caring Hands Clinic: Based in Cleveland, provides low cost healthcare to those in need.
Catalyst Christian Learning Center: Allows public high school students to take faith-based classes for credit as part of their schedule.
Circle of Hope: Shelter based in Habersham County for women and children seeking to escape domestic violence. Thrift store in Clarkesville partially funds this initiative.
Enotah Anti-Drug Coalition: A community coalition for the purpose of combining community effort to combat the drug epidemic in North Georgia.
Georgia CASA: Trains and supports volunteers to speak for the best interests of abused, neglected or abandoned children involved in Juvenile Court proceedings.
Habitat for Humanity: A non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that everyone should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live.
Habersham Soup Kitchen: Based in Clarkesville the soup kitchen serves hot lunches Monday through Saturday to those in need..
